Contract Recruitment

When a permanent placement is not appropriate we can assist you to locate a suitable contractor who will meet your needs and is able to perform the required tasks. A contract fee will be negotiated. Should the candidate become a permanent member of staff within twelve (12) months of placement then the standard recruitment fee will apply, less the contract fee already paid.

Career Transition

McLaren Associates provides a service to assist companies whose staff are affected by restructuring. Our comprehensive Redundancy Counselling Programme is tailored to meet specific requirements but is structured generally on the following basis:
  • Professional assistance in the construction of a curriculum vitae for each staff member, to include all pertinent personal and job history information, skills, abilities, experience, work or management style.

  • Presentation of curriculum vitae in final format for each staff member, in conjunction with follow-up discussions and support.

  • Interviewing techniques, role-plays and simulated exercises in a "real time" situation to assist staff in applying for other positions.

  • Ongoing support of the staff (either at the client's offices or in our own offices in Wellington) and marketing of each staff member in the job market.
